Representatives from the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development participated in an Erasmus+ mobility program held from March 23 to 27, 2026, in Vilnius, Lithuania, as part of an Erasmus Week organised by Mykolas Romeris University. Vice-Deans Marko Šostar and Berislav Andrlić participated in teaching activities; they presented international exchange opportunities offered by the Faculty to students and delivered lectures on marketing and tourism. Professor Miglė Černikovaitė hosted these teaching activities, which also included a tour of the university’s practical training facilities. Milan Paun, an associate for business operations and procurement, participated in a professional development component, receiving training in procurement and faculty business operations, alongside visits to administrative offices. Alina Juškienė and Audra Dargytė-Burokienė hosted this part of the program. In addition to the professional agenda, the representatives from the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development took part in cultural and tourism events organised during Erasmus Week, gaining further insight into Lithuanian culture, the academic environment, and best practices in international cooperation. Participation in such mobility programs is of significant value to the ongoing development of the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development. In addition to contributing to the strengthening of international cooperation and the Faculty’s visibility, such activities create opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and experience, the improvement of teaching and administrative processes, and the development of new forms of collaboration in the fields of education, tourism, and international projects. At the same time, these experiences further enhance the competencies of staff members and contribute to a more effective integration of the Faculty into the European Higher Education Area.
