Professional Undergraduate Degree in Accounting

The dynamic nature of globalisation trends in the world economy often requires rapid adaptation when making business decisions. These decisions, primarily focused on enhancing competitiveness and achieving positive financial outcomes, require both financial and non-financial information. Accountants, as key employees, must possess high standards of expertise and competence to effectively record, monitor, report, analyse and forecast all financial transactions. Formal education, through the professional undergraduate study programme in Accounting, lays the foundation for developing theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in accounting practices within private and public sector entities. Additionally, this study programme content enables students to acquire diverse knowledge beyond the direct work of accountants, which is nonetheless significant for the functioning of other business processes within a company. Thus, the focus is on educating employees who will be professional, responsible, reliable, flexible and ready for continuous learning in their profession.

Through the theoretical and practical instruction provided by the institution, as well as professional practice experience in private and public sector entities, students gain familiarity with the entire accounting process. Consequently, upon completing their studies, they achieve professionalism and adapt more easily to the work process.
