The Office for Quality Assurance and Improvement is an organisational unit of the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega. It collaborates with and provides support to the Vice Dean for Teaching and Quality, the Committee for Monitoring and Ensuring the Quality of Higher Education, the Committee for Internal Quality System Review, and the University Centre for Quality Assurance and Improvement of Higher Education. The Office performs tasks related to the management and improvement of the quality system of higher education at the Faculty. Additionally, it oversees the establishment and implementation of the internal quality assurance and improvement system, as well as the implementation of the external quality evaluation system at the Faculty.
The Office monitors and implements the institutional mechanism for systematically defining, monitoring, and evaluating quality indicators, conducts activities for monitoring and improving quality across all Faculty structures, and for the entire study period including: application and enrolment in studies, teaching, assessment of learning outcomes, obtaining professional or academic titles, monitoring and analysing the employment and employability of the Faculty's graduates. It provides advisory and support services to students and the development of their careers, participates in the preparation of the external evaluation of the Faculty, proposes measures and activities to the Dean, Faculty Council, and Vice-Dean for Teaching and Quality for improving the quality system at the Faculty, participates in planning and developing the Faculty's development strategy/strategic goals, and submits an annual report to the Faculty Council on the implementation of the quality assurance and improvement system at the Faculty.
