From 18 to 22 May 2026, as part of Erasmus+ staff mobility for teaching purposes, Verica Budimir participated in a mobility programme at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in Burdur, Republic of Türkiye, a partner institution of the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega.
During the mobility, lectures on Financial Literacy were delivered to students at the School of Tourism and Hotel Management. In addition to teaching activities, meetings were held with professors and Erasmus coordinators of the host institution to discuss possibilities for further cooperation through Erasmus+ student and staff mobility, joint scientific publications, and the development of future international projects.
The stay at the partner university facilitated the exchange of experiences and examples of good practice in higher education, tourism, and gastronomy, as well as insights into the organisation of work and teaching processes at Mehmet Akif Ersoy University.
In addition to the official part of the mobility, the participant had the opportunity to explore the cultural and historical heritage of the city of Burdur and the Antalya region, which further enriched the international and intercultural experience.
Participation in the Erasmus+ programme contributed to strengthening the international cooperation of the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega and to developing new opportunities for future academic and professional activities.
