Student mobility in Greece

Students of the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega – Klara Marić, Petra Katičić and Filip Gitt (study programme Accounting), Luka Madžarević (study programme Tourism ), and Mia Babić and Ema Senić (study programme Electronic Business and Programme Engineering) – participated in a short-term student mobility within the Erasmus+ programme at the partner institution, the International Hellenic University in Thessaloniki, Greece.

During their stay at the foreign higher education institution, the students had the opportunity to enhance their professional and academic knowledge through modern teaching approaches, while also developing key competencies necessary for successful participation in an international environment. Interaction with students from different countries enabled them to exchange ideas, experiences, and perspectives, further strengthening their communication and intercultural skills.

They particularly emphasise the stimulating and dynamic environment, which significantly contributed to their personal and professional development. In addition to their academic obligations, the students had the opportunity to explore Greece’s rich cultural and historical heritage, further enriching their overall experience and broadening their horizons. This mobility proved to be an extremely valuable experience that motivated them to pursue further development, encouraged them to step out of their comfort zone, and strengthened their self-confidence and independence.

They highly recommend the Erasmus+ programme to all students who wish to enhance their knowledge, discover new cultures, and gain unforgettable international experiences.
