Representatives of the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development participated in the Erasmus+ mobility programme held from 23 to 27 March 2026 in Vilnius, Lithuania, as part of Erasmus Week organized by Mykolas Romeris University.
In the field of learning and teaching activities, Marko Šostar and Berislav Andrlić took part in the programme, presenting Futura’s opportunities for international exchange and delivering lectures to students in the fields of marketing and tourism. The host of the teaching activities was Professor Miglė Černikovaitė.
In the field of staff training, Milan Paun participated in education and training related to faculty procurement and business operations, and also visited the administration offices. The hosts for this part of the programme were colleagues Alina Juškienė and Audra Dargytė-Burokienė.
In addition to the working part of the programme, representatives of the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development also took part in cultural and tourism events organized as part of Erasmus Week, which gave them further insight into Lithuanian culture, the academic environment, and examples of good practice in international cooperation.
Participation in mobility programmes of this kind has multiple benefits for the development of the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development. Besides strengthening the Faculty’s international cooperation and visibility, such activities create opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and experience, the improvement of teaching and administrative processes, and the development of new forms of cooperation in the fields of education, tourism, and international projects. At the same time, these experiences further enhance staff competencies and contribute to the Faculty’s stronger integration into the European Higher Education Area.
